INTERVIEW / AUDITION / EXAM
certification courses
Applying for drama school and auditions is a competitive game - and you have to play hard ball. It is essential you pick the right pieces and edit the material for the given time requirements. You also need to think about what your unique selling point is, and how you can best show off your talent, skills and range. Sometimes you are required to sing a song - accompanied or a capella - and this must also be carefully chosen to showcase your range and castability.
So often, the importance of the interview element, informal or otherwise, is overlooked. With my clients I look at the process in its entirety - and craft engaging and passionate responses that detail previous experience, theatre/screen knowledge and why you want to join that particular training establishment, creative project or be awarded that scholarship or bursary funding.

Gigi has been an absolute delight to work with. She has helped me with acting classes and drama school auditions: LAMDA, RADA, Bristol Old Vic, Rose Bruford and NYT. She has pushed me to better myself as an actor, as a person, and pushed me out of my comfort zone. She has also helped me with my self-esteem and believing in my own skills.
Aurora - Rose Bruford Student
Gigi has an excellent way with children. Her lessons are positive, encouraging, creative and carried out in a most professional manner. My son Henry was chosen for a part in the BBC drama "Shakespeare & Hathaway" after he received lessons from Gigi before the audition.
Nilgun - Mother of Henry - filmed BBC's "Shakespeare & Hathaway"
Gigi has been absolutely amazing. Not only is she clearly a very talented teacher (and actress herself) but the energy, effort, understanding, empathy and love she has put into the whole process has been quite outstanding. She really has gone over and above for Noah’s audition; it has been a very positive experience in every way. We will be very sad to say goodbye!
Debbie - Mother of Noah - Mill Hill School Drama Scholarship Audition
I had 6 sessions working with Gigi to help me prepare for my audition for a 13 plus scholarship. I really enjoyed working with her, I learned absolutely loads and she helped me so much. Thanks to all of her help and hard work I got the scholarship!
Noah - Mill Hill School Drama Scholarship Awardee
I watched Noah's two audition pieces and they were really outstanding. I was incredibly impressed. Bravo!
Libby - Belmont Mill Hill Prep School Head Of Drama
Dominic has been tutored by Gigi for a year now. He has an excellent relationship with Gigi, and has found her to be the most helpful tutor to date. She has given Dominic the ability to feel a lot more confident and positive about himself as an actor. Her consistency and enthusiasm have allowed Dominic to adopt more self motivation and she has the ability to understand him which I feel is an amazing attribute. The energy she exudes always leaves its mark, giving Dominic the encouragement needed to do well. All in all we are more than happy with her style of teaching, long may she carry on!
